time is a continueous thred thaqt goes ever ever on. going back in time is to me not theoretically posiible since time only goes forward never backward. I believe that time is planned out nothing is a coincidence nothing is accident. it is completely and totaly planned out. just a thought.

I personally don't know what to think. I like to think that I have control over my life, but maybe what I think of as control was really all planned out. You could kill yourself right now and say I did something that I could control, but maybe that was that person's destiny.

I see Time as an infinite number of threads. For the billionth of a second that I take to do something, that's one thread. But every possibility exists, so I believe it would be possible to travel through time. I believe time is just billions and billions of dimensions, so if we could figure out the right one, we could go. And the reason you dream of the future and can't change it is because your subconscious knows how you're going to react to the dream, so it makes that happen. i.e. if your subconscious knows you'll try to change it, it's going to give you that precise piece of information. I hope i make sense. And yes, this should be in philosophy.

I know what your talking about, they call it the Parallel Universe theory, I think. It's also fun to think about if you had done something different what would your future look like now.

But time can determine how much life you have left. So in a way they are connected and are equally important.

Well, either way time will still determine when you die. It doesn't matter if you believe in fate or free will.

No I'm not saying time determines when you will die, but everyone has their time on earth, nobody is ever here forever so time can wear down on people. I'm not saying it's fate, I'm just saying that time does effect life.
