OK, you guys are gonna tear me up on this one    Now don't get offended or don't get me wrong, I'm just saying an idea I was thinking about last night.  Don't think I really believe in this or anything.

Do you think war is good??  And I don't mean for the economy, but I mean over-population-wise.  The world is really getting out of control with the population, and maybe wars are the only way that we can control it.  Sorry if any of you have lost friends or anything in wars, but maybe there is a good side to all the fighting that's going on.  Again, I'm sorry for this post, I just want to see if anyone agrees with me.

war can be good for the social structure and population control of countries, they can grow and build new technologies.
look what has happend after a war has been fought -
WW2 brought new technologies and alliances with fellow neighbours.
even the terrorist attack in america has brought some form of good - most of the free world has united in a just cause, we have become a lot closer allies.
we are all fighting a common enemy now..and to think only 20-30 years ago we were all enemies.
i.e. america and russia.
in a lot of ways war is very bad...but you can not stop something that is in human nature and that is to fight.
but on the flip side like i said..war can and is helpful to the human race.

Well nature got its own way for over-population... eat the weak. Another interesting thing is that apes DO know what war is. BTW; most animals have a lil war about their teritory... as we humans also have.
But to stick with the question, I dont think this would be the reason why ppl have/start a war. So dont feel sorry for somethin ;D

Well, I didn't mean they would start wars over this, but I meant is as kind of as a way to look at the bright side of things.  But I'm glad nobody has gotten offended yet.

because yes, war is bad because violence is wrong and not the way to go but I think that war is Mother Earth's way of cleansing the planet...

but I believe that those who want war or those who are violent or "evil" by nature are those who are killed in the war, as for those in war merely to protect those they love, they've served a purpose and now it's time to go
same works for diseases and such, no matter how much you love someone or how sweet they are, they've served their purpose and they need to move on...

that's what I mean by cleansing...to get rid of the "extra baggage"(I don't mean that in a mean way..I just couldn't think of another way to say it...eep )
