God does not exist. Religion is a tool created by men, to control other people. The Bible is so full of hypocritical contradictions that no true supreme all knowing all seeing God would ever allow it to be published in such a state.  Thou Shalt not kill! Yet if you catch an adulterer you should stone them to death or throw them from a high cliff? As a tool of mans creation it has been abused as such, for holy wars, to persecute innocents calling them witches. Look at world war 2 a whole group of people targeted for extermination fr their religion. Even today extremists such as Bin Laden twisting the teachings of the Qoran for his own sick purposes. Northen Ireland still trying to blow up children walking to school through the wrong neighbourhood because they are protestant or catholic. How much sense is that??? They are worshipping the same God but still they kill each other. Religion itself is not evil but it can be misused so easily in terrifying ways. |

well my thoughts are very similar if not the same but you just worded it a whole lot better...it's a lot more descriptive then: "the bible sucks" well ya...I don't want to insult anyone whose catholic or anything..just a point of vue... PLUR |

religion wasnt created with the intent to coz wars...
the religion that i see...
the first things in it...
well i like
it has some contraditions but thats coz not one lad wrote it all and the fact that there was a pretty big fight back than at about the birth of christ (no relation though) of what books will go in it....
the real and actual bible is...
the tora
thats what i think anyway
it has a hell lotta wisdom in it...
u shouldnt consider it respocible for the destructive ppl using it for their own benefit...
