Id say no too, but not bcuz of that. Id say bcuz when some other alien race would attack, we'd probably loose bcuz we are probably too stupid compared to them. Ofcourse that's only when aliens are the threat... ;D

We kill each other over scraps of land, religions, skin colour, even for fun. People just aren't capable of a truly united front. Not on a worldwide scale. Too many issues from the past.

I would say some of them as seen from the 2 world wars nations such as United States, Australia and Great Britain were able to join forces against a common threat.
This again happened in the war against the Taleban.
I just don't believe that all the countries of the world could trust each other without someone seeing it as a good covert way of invading another country under the banner of peace.

i said yes... i dont believe were stupid enough to not do it... and i think it has been proven before...
+Bennu what ur saying is very unlikely... no nation is stupid enough to think it can take down this common threat by itself of course that after the threat is eliminated there will be wars again... and maybe even more than before coz of the confusion but i think they will all join hands and kick someone elses ass for a change ;D but just for a lil while though

I said none but a few of them. I think most would just be too stubborn to work together. I think there are a few that would put their differences aside and work something out.

Yeah, but I think there are some that would rather die than team up with something like the U.S. Like Iraq. Or other countries like that.

I think the countries that have a close union will join together but rather than there being one union there will probably be several different factions fighting the threat.
Problem being is that once/if that threat is taken care of what is to stop us from turning on each other in an attempt to seize total world power.

Nations may gather in smaller alliances, but a full scale united world effort just isn't gonna happen, too many countries run by meglomaniac jerks.
