However we do have Jimbo our resident skeptic who isnt a believer. Its always worth getting an opinion from both sides of any discussion.

I don't think you can really say who's the biggest skeptic or believer... because the amount of one's capability to be a believer may be highly different from another's....so perhaps... in the end, we are all believers.. at one time or another and skeptics in another one... Because I'm certain a person didn't always believe everything...aswell as I'm certain they didn't need proof for everything also.

I find this post extremly offensive, And I asked if it be locked or deleted! The fact that others belief are being question is more then reason to...If someone is happy with whatever there doing, then who are we/you to judge... I am being catogarized as a sensless beleiver... I ask for this offensive topic to be locked....

This thread by itself isnt offensive it is debating the rationalisation between skeptics and believers.
The same that occurs in religious discussions. We are not saying it is wrong to be a believer or a skeptic but that there are certain flaws and merits for both view points.
It is also an undeniable fact that there is a tension between these two positions and the reason for such a tension is also worthy of discussion.
What is wrong however is if we turn this into a slagging match between members. So Lotu has a valid point. Lets keep names out of this if we think what we will say could be considered potentially offensive.
But lets keep this thread open. It is an important issue within para normal investigations.
