Hey. Pretty sweet that we have the geomancy forum back. I was just wondering. Can people learn geomancy, or are they born with it and it's not for everybody?? I was just curious.

Well, from what I know.. I think some are born with it, others can learn and master it.. and also, some aren't made for it. Then again, I could be wrong here...

Interesting. I would think you would have to be born with it. It doesn't seem like something you can just decide you want to learn one day and all of a sudden start controlling the elements and what not. Just my opinion.

It's obvious that it will take time, yes. But I think if you have it in your heart, mind and soul that you want to do it. It can happen. It will take longer than if you were born with it. But it might be done..

Hmm.. well, Tk has been some busy. So far as I know. But I can let him know about it. Whenever I talk to him or "see" him next..It's true, he would know the answer.. I tried to answer the best I could.

well I'd say that if you consider everythign else...you are born with it...like every other power... you are born of flesh, breathe the air, feel the heat of fire, can touch the earth and drink of water...it's already inside you some may take longer to learn then others but that's like everything else...someone will always learn faster... that's my 2 cents... Well, you've made a very good point. That is true, it is within us all but for some, they can "unlock" it and others cannot at a certain time.
Also, you may have written 2 cents, but in my book it has been accepted like 4 cents.

just 4   well anyways...it's just common sense and I must correct you but that is not true...EVERYONE and anyone can "unlock"(as you put it) their "powers"...some may just need more dedication to the practice then others... but that's just because of blood or beliefs...if someone has doubts then it will take sooooo much longer...and if someone comes from a long line of practionners it will come more easily.... anywhoz...PLUR and KISSIES |

Okay, this brings up the 'rate of growth' concept. Some people are born with the abilities they have. They've already aquired, from the beginning, some of the power. If you compare this to a doorway, they've already got a foot in the door.
Others can learn how to use these abilities by simply training. All you have to do is get up and do it with someone who has experience or listen to someone who's been there. Back to my doorway analogy, these people started outside the door, but ran throught it.
As for those who just can't learn it, it only seems that way. These people just have a difficulty grasping some of the abstract concepts of Geomancy. They see the door, they want to open it, but they're walking very, very slowly.

some of us...more like the majority of Earth's population...idiots...I can actually feel Earth getting frustrated...as well as the 3 elements affected by human idiocy....earth, water, and air...they aren't happy and I can't blame them... True, no matter what, it does help..may not help alot or may help too much. In the end, it still helps. Therefore, we should give thanks, as you said..Unfortunatly, we are some of few who only think that way..Hopefully, that few may grow..only within time, I figure.
