ok well like I said somewhere else, my "religion" is my own, I can't seem to find ONE faith that goes by all that I believe. 
I figured this would be the best place to put it cause there isn't really a section on religion and a lot of my beliefs are similar to those of a wiccan...
um, I dunno really know where to start so if I'm not completely coherent just ask me about it or something..
For starters I believe that death is merely a transition not an ending. Life is eternal as far as I'm concerned but it's never spent in one place for too long. When a person "dies" on this plane, planet, dimension, whatever you wanna call it, they then go onto a place of pure relaxation, to rejuvenate, if you will, before moving on to the next place. I suppose this could be considered summerland, but the beauty of this is that it's whatever your soul wants or needs, and only has the people you want in it, it's a person's "perfect world".
Alright, as for the matter of ~moving on~ or reincarnation, most people believe that people are reincarnated back onto this world but my beliefs are that the person is sent to another "world" or "dimension". There is a huge number of these "dimensions" and a person will rarely visit the same one twice. There are good and bad "dimensions" alike and how the person lived their life is what decides which one they move onto. If they were good people, they're sent to a good "dimension" where things rarely go wrong and vice-versa for mean people.
Now as for the "spirits of the dead", I believe that they are in another "dimension" and our "dimension" and their "dimension" have a connection(i guess that's the best word) between them. Like certain people of this "dimension" that are susceptible to "sensing the spirits" we can see them and communicate with them just as some of them can to us. But like people or ouf "dimension" others will have no idea you're there. That I guess would be the type of "spirit" that just goes along with it's business, not noticing you.
By considering that some people can remember past lives, those would be the "spirits of the dead" trying to communicate with "living relatives".
Several "dimensions" are similar but no 2 are identical. Sorta like snowflakes, so many pilled together and so many similar and you can barely see a difference, but there always is a difference if you look hard enough.
So where your house stands, in an interconnecting "dimension" there could be a field, or a hotel and in another "dimension" that overlaps ours and others there may be a star and in another there could be a school.
And well my explanation for certain areas with excessive "spirit activity" is that there just happens to be several busy places in the "dimensions" overlapping that place. And for places with minimal "spirit activity" it's just because there may be less "dimensions" overlapping that area, or the places that overlap them, don't have creatures in it.
Well I think I pretty much explained everything...if I missed anything, I'll add it another time.
