If space (Not time, I'm ignoring time for now) could be 'bent', more or less this - @----------------------------& Normal Diagram of Space, with the direction for travel to reach point A to point B. @ = Point A & = Point B IF Space would be 'bent' - @-------. .-------& '. .` ' . .' '
OK! That was a pain in the ass- Next time I just upload a damned MS paint scetch... Ah yes- If space could be bent, as in the 'image' above, bringing the two points A and B closer, to the point where they are close enough for what ever is traveling to actually Travel to the point, with less energy and time than it would take to travel on/through normal space from Point A to point B, because now Point B (the desired Finish point) is practicly on the traveling object (Which starts at Point A), it would be faster, and for the theory to be useful; easier. So from - @----------------------------& - to - @-------. .-------& - to '. .` '. .' ' - @-& to, In theory, now that what ever 'bent' the space, would be 'turned' off or reversed, allowing space to flex back into it's regular posistion. Bring The traveling object safely to Point B, with less energy exerted. I got the fry hole analogy, first time it was used, lol Pizza guy falls backwards into time pod - Good Time ;Ds OK! I can't work out the text to make a Giant 'V' Shape where the space would bend on my "@---------&" diagrams. So use your imaginations.
