Well Number theory is related to science because it's numbers of science. I have tried to teach myself number theory, but I encountered a branch of mathematics that has no order as compared to Algebra. Number theory starts with the simple fact that k(k+1) is even. In other words two adjacent numbers multiplied together is an even number 2n. After that you can supposedly prove everything. I found that difficult. My moms boyfriend seems to have that down pact though. He is really good with working with numbers. He's trying to teach me but I dont quite get some of it. He is cracking the code of lottery at the moment. Since everything has a number theory he has been trying to get the code of lottery. That way he'll be able to predict what the next numbers are. He's a very smart man and if he figures out the code he'll be famous. Does anyone on here know anything else about number theory, or a way to make me understand it better? thanx [glow=red,2,300]Saraeh[/glow]

That makes this: k(k+1) always even bcuz even(even+1) = even*odd=even odd(odd+1)= odd*even=even

you learn that in school! it still doesn't help with number theory in general.
