I dont think he should get the death penalty cuz he didint do anything wrong exept for act weird and stuck up. They didnt find any weapons of mass distruction or anything... That was kinda stupid cuz that was the whole point of this war.

Is your head up your ass for the warmth?
Did nothing wrong? Where the shit have you been? Under a rock with out the liberal media shooting and ranting down a list of his offences for 2 decades? Wake the fuck up.
Let us start with the earlier offences -
President of Iraq since 1979 (Vice President from 1968-79). Dictator who stops at nothing to preserve personal power and regime survival. After the 1968 Ba'athist Coup, began his career as Chief of Iraq's security services.
Executed opponents and suspected potential rivals, including scores of high-level government officials and thousands of political prisoners.
Since the 1970s, escalated and made routine the systematic torture and execution of political prisoners.
Ordered the use of chemical weapons against Iranian forces in the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war, and against Iraq's Kurdish population in 1988. The 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war left 150,000 to 340,000 Iraqis and 450,000 to 730,000 Iranians dead.
Ordered the invasion and destruction of Kuwait in 1990-91 with 1,000 Kuwaitis killed.
Directed the 1991 bloody suppression of Kurdish and Shi'a insurgencies in northern and southern Iraq with at least 30,000 to 60,000 killed.
Ordered the destruction of southern marshes to extinguish the Shi'a insurgency.
Lets not forget his son Uday who is well known for raping and murdering girls and women.
Oh, he's just 'wierd' though.
I really can't think of a punishment that would surfice for his crimes. Put him on a chair, chain him down at gun point, and have every family and person he ever wronged against come and tell him of his damage to them. After a decade or so of that, send him into orbit of Earth in a cheap satilite, then redirect it into Earth's Atmosphere. If anyone deserves to burn up in reentry, it is him.

well I think its just the US government that is saying he did all these things cuz the economy is not going well and the government is just looking for ppl and countries to pick on and make wars cuz if we win a war the economy will start getting betting and more ppl would invest in our country. And the fact that he is a dictator..well Islam is a weird religion and we dont understand a lot of what it teaches..so i dont think its right to go rescue some ppl when we dont know what they want. And yea Saddam is crazy...but just cuz he is a lil messed up doesnt mean they have to give him the death penalty...i mean he was elected by his country and its their fault

Let fill you guys in the secret to world peace. If everybody only worried about their country and left eachother alone would never have any wars what-so-ever.
But I agree with electra, Saddam didn't do anything wrong except for being a tyrant in his own country. We americans are nothing but power mad idiots looking to pick on other countries

Well, actually electra, the US tried to help out in Africa like in Somalia, but the War Lords struck back and we decided it wasn't worth the American life and supplies to help out. The supplies were just being stolen by the War lords anyways.
I voted no opinion. I think it's for a court of unbiased Iraqis to decide. Problem is, either they hate him or they support him, so that's hard to find.

u know what i think that we should just leave the Iraqie ppl alone and let them rebuild their country the way they want to and not the way we want it. I mean we could try to solve more important issues like world hunger and getting ppl off the streets and help them work. I mean that is what we should be focusing on.

ppl in Afrika die from starvation... You know, frankly, I dont give a shit. Read; it's verry SAD that those people die but we just happen to live in the right climate-zone.. Besides that, if those African Dictators wouldn't keep EVERYTHING for themselves they wouldn't have such a big problem [/font]
