a cult is a group of like minded people who follow a certain path or faith. the occult is anything to do with magick and the mysteries behind it all.

Yeah.. but Cult can also be something else.. like that film, Pul Fiction, thats also Cult.

Yes, those types of films are called "cult" or "cult classics" because they draw a certain following as do cults as well. The occult has more to do with other things which cults more often then not base at least part of their belief system on.

Certainly not all cult's follow sacrifice, it's like saying every group of people sacrifice animals.. but bring together enough mentaly unhinged people and anything could happen...

Cults were not the only ones sacrificing animals and people, in the past.
Many religions and beliefs throughout the entire world did so.
It was not unheard of by all means...
