Close the curtains shut the door
I'll play my favorite song once more
Put some pictures in my hand
And pin a letter to my chest

I close my eyes and concentrate
On times I want to memorate
Dim the lights one last time
The ones I love are on my mind

Closer now the time draws near
And soon I will be out of here
The stony silence surrounds me now
And I know that my time has come

I'm sorry it came down to this
But I have to say goodbye and leave
