I like to call the ghosts you can see "spectres."
Spectres are the visible ghosts that you see mostly in haunted houses and graveyards. They are extremely rare and very shy so it's hard to come across one. Most don't attack you or haunt you like in the movies. Most of the time the ghosts don't even know you are there, or sometimes they don't realize that they themselves are there. The majority of the time they are peaceful and leave you alone. But there are always exceptions. There are also the wilder kind that like to stalk you or attack you when you are alone. I don't know of any true stories of anyone actually being killed by a spectre, but I suppose it's possible.
Most of the time spectres appear as ectoplasm, which means they don't have any real form. They look kind of like mist. Sometimes they will take on a form, but remain slightly ectoplasmic which makes them translucent. And other times, they look like they are real, live human beings (until you try and follow them and they disappear).

Oh.. I know those. I'm always with one. True though, that most of them are calm. Marie is.. quite nice actually.. (that's her name). She likes to watch over me..

[glow=purple,2,300] well the visible ones aren't harmful, but I have fewer of them in my home now because the creepy ones that actually have hurt me chased them off...
the lady in my kitchen is gone...too bad b/c I never met her...but the lil girl is still here...she sticks to me and my room most of the time tho...we have a connection...I used to play with her when I was a lil girl...and I may be mistaken but I think her name is Maryse...
b/c not too long ago we found a nail file(as mundane as the may seem) that had that name engraved in it behind a towel rod in my bathroom...but the thing is...we renovated our bathroom about 3 years ago...and we would ahve found it then if it hadn't been placed there recently...
well sadly I can't see them anymore b/c the ones that have attacked me placed fear in my heart and well that has clouded my third eye...but I know the lil girl, an old man(possibly a relative who watches over me), a middle aged man, a lil boy that I think is named Billy and possibly a few other kind ones are still here because my mother can see them, and although my father won't admit it to ME, he can see some of them too, and my sister whom is a very talented psychic(so is my mother) can as well...of course as far as I know they've never been harmed...but then again...I tend to frustrate them because they have tried to communicate but I can't communicate back so they get quite miffed...
anywhoz...just to say...spectres as you call them aren't that rare...they're just very choosy as to whom they show themselves to...and ya...they are quite peaceful...and very friendly...

Well that's what I meant. Not anybody can find them. They usually choose who they want to let see them. You have a very interesting house I'd love to check it out sometime, that would be sweet.
Yeah, gentil ghosts really don't like being in the same area as the malevolent ghosts. If they are with them, they are watching over someone or something and protecting it.
Your third eye is clouded. So would that mean you have a.............. Third Eye Blind?? Sorry I couldn't resist.

hehe...well I figured you liked the band:P anywhoz...I dunno if you'd like my house once you were here... It's like a weird sanctuary, for the past week I've been getting new spirits daily...and they aren't adjusting very well but it seems that I'm the only one that can sense it... my sister and my mother(whom are both gifted) seem to have no problem with the basement where I've been attacked on more than one occasion...but I've also been told by many that I am very powerful and even before I was born my mother was told I would be incredibly strong if I chose to take that path... well the meaner ones have left(well most of em) but I'm still being stalked by 1 or 2 in dreams, out of dreams...but they pretty much leave me alone when I'm at home or with people...but walking on the street alone...well they like to mess with me... anywhoz...I grew up here and they still scare me sometimes...I mean I grew up being surrounded by them and it still bothers me when I see em outta the corner of my eye...that how many there are here... and well as for history...my house isn't that old...just a lil over 75 years old...but at least 50 people have lived here (the people that lived here at one point kept the sceond floor-composed of 2 bedrooms that are both mine and a closet- as a rooming area...they kept 5 beds in the room I sleep in now(which isnt very big) for 5 different people and people were moving in and out all the time...so...) well ya...that's my house...and well my yard is fairly creepy too...but only when I'm inside...cuz I can feel them watching me when I cook/bake or clean the kitchen... but to be honest Teej...I don't think you'd like it in Timmins... anyone who knows what really goes down here, doesn't like to be here...well at least not without a good sword(or at least a dagger) and about 5 very strong(as in paranormally inclined strong) people...(well at least on the streets...and most of the time at night..oh and after night fall...never be alone in unpoppulated areas or even slightly populate ares...stay in places well lit and you SHOULD be fine....should...) well anwyhoz...shortly put...Timmins sucks...I want out...or want most of what is "living" here out... but what it really should be is : "Timmins: GET THE HELL OUT WHEN YOU CAN..."
like ya sure I've seen worse but it's not that fab of a place...tons of hauntings, cults, demon worshipers, too many gateway to name...
It's almost like Canada's very own real life Sunnydale...from Buffy...
every thinks it's normal and it's all nice and yay..but it's built on a hell mouth...and well we pretty much are...we're built on top of a dormant volcano...which does NOT help the energy...
and than there are the "normal" things...well most of those go unreported or get covered up...
well ya...it IS a creepy place here...but what's worse is that not alotta people are aware of most of what goes on here...after all knowledge is power....

*CORRECTION* sorry...when I said we were built ON a volcano I didn't word it properly. The vlocano is actually the most popular ski hill in Timmins, and Timmins is HUGE, it's mostly forest and it only has a population of about 45000 or 60000 people(i can't remember) well the underground caves and well I guess I could say reservoir pans out under the ENTIRE city...so when that thing blows...bye-bye hometown... so we prolly have like molten lava flowing under us all the time...yay... well ya...that's where a lot of the energy comes from... very true... but what I've come to realise is that the city council and all them know a lot more then they let on... I dunno if it's a fluke or not but everywhere that the negative energy is super high, like the strongest points in the city, there aren't any street lights...and it's not like they couldn't have put them there...they jus chose not to... well, PLUR |

Could be that every time they tried to put them there, the negative energy caused them to short out. So they probably got tired of putting them up and having them break all the time.
