killing my great-grandmother

I had a dream that my great-grandmother and I had a fight over money. She is deceased in real life, and this was taking place in her house. I all of a sudden beat her to death with a drumstick, and when my brother showed up, I took her into a laundry room which is in my house. I tried telling everyone that it was self-defense, but kept shaking and thinking I was going to get caught. Is this dream trying to tell me I'm to selfish?
