I have a question about dream meanings. Let's say (for example) someone has a dream about a horse. They look up the meaning of horse in a dream decoding book and it says that it means the person is having a hard time figuring out their love life (I don't know if that's what it really means, I'm just giving an example).
Anyways, my question is this. If they were having problems with their love life and dreamed of a horse, but didn't realize that the two were linked until they read about it in the book, then how did their mind know to dream of a horse to symbolize that they were having problems with their love life??
I really hope this makes sense, I've been trying to figure this one out for awhile.

I get what you're saying, but I don't agree with it. You're subconscious may be able to recall things that you thought you had forgotten, but when it brings these things back the person should be able to remember what they mean. If your memory brings back a horse to symbolize something, then you should be able to also remember what it symbolizes.

No, your mind doesnt nescecarilly have to know the reason for a sollution to a certain problem if it came up with only the sollution itself..
