I real life, I recently met someone that I believe to be my soul mate, though he is not aware of this. My dream was a short one, but because I never have dreams of this style, it interested me. I hear him saying my name, so I turn around. He seems to be standing across a black table from me. I observe that our other classmates seem to be facing the front watching a movie. He says to me "I thinking sometime that I might ask you out to a movie.". His ex-girlfriend, who seems to be close friends with him and doesn't like me much in real life, is standing next to him and gives me a hateful "you don't deserve him" look. Then, all I see is black, the same black as the table separating us. But it is not a pitch black, but rather a soft black. I am breathing hard and trying to at least mouth a positive reply to him. This entire dream seems to only last about ten seconds and I know that I didn't wake up immediately following it, though there were no dreams after it, or before it for that matter. I have been growing impatient for him to realize the connection between us, so is this some kind of sign to me?
