Here are 4 poems of mine I'd like to share-
(1)
The sun sinks slowly
Into darkened sky
leaves on trees
Quit dancing
As the bird
Neglects to sing.
The wind heaves
Just one last sigh
Restless to wake
Dust that is sleeping
On dirty step
A rose cries
As it'e petals bleed
And laments over
It's withered beauty
Tear drops
Dew drops
Adorn the ground
in morning.
(2) This void
Mysteriously divided
one dreaming the other
slipping into blackened rooms;
movements slowed by the horror.
Inexplicable absence
hearing crying, a scalding
lament defeated, lamed;
by ungodly magic.
(3) Humid Taste
Peering through the pallable nigt
Darkness presses it's thick
warm blankness upon me
Moonless and moist as black velvet.
Poisonous air about us-
a sudden chill
as fast as glass
with the mental chill of sudden death.
(4) Engage the mind/ Please the body
Graceful in dialect
tentative interest
The hurried breathless pleading
memory of loveliness pierces me,
Smiling abstractly,
seriously delighted,
begging an indulgence.
