Desending, falling secretly,
Thou dark, unholy creature- bring'st thou
hope or fear?
Life, cold death, kindness, hope ever-
lasting or destruction?
Or blackened stars and earth? Wilt call the cor-
ners forth?
Or quickly take our souls away? Or keep
us here to stay,
Strong, warriors of old, with loud
voices howling, screaming?
