My friend Matt writes sonnet's and he's pretty good. This is one part.
O my love, if thou would only dream yet; A dream yet seen with eyes, I weep alone Had my blessings in possessions be met All this the world will know, yet none hath known All this and Hell that leads behind a dream A bliss, a very woe, no sooner had Past reason perjured in a quest extreme My very woe, a dream so sooner mad If only dreams expressed the truth of love Yet mirrored not, I weep so hard I've cracked Façade, yet through, past eyes I see yet love Behind thy back I"ll stand, and at best act For thy sweet love is wonders to my heart, My very woe, I dream of not such art.
