today i saw an enlighting Deep Space 9 episode...
bout hate and racisim...
made me think (thats what i like bout that show and the whole star trek thingies)
are racist and hating ppl are EVIL?
is there no way back from hate?
started hating and ya'll forever remain that way?
i think that racist ppl establish thier life and everything the know and think is just based on another axiom of that of a non racist lad rat...
they just assume that they are better than other pipol
and we dont
but we assume that were better than all animals (not all of us though) and all plants
they just extended it to ppl...
but non of us can say they are wrong
and non of them can say we are wrong
were just basing our life on other things
but on the other hand
love brings love and hate brings hate
love brings healing and hate brings death
im not justifying racisim
HELL NO
im jewish.... all my grandpa's family was murdered by the nazis
im just pondering here...

Yes but Cat, you must realize..some people were brought up that way.. they were taught that they were better and know no other way.. Which I find is extremely wrong and limits them to their own decisions.. because I don't think the normal human being would ever think of themselves better than another human being if given the choice as a child..
Makes sense?

I wasn't brought up that way. I not a racist at all. But I do hate people. It's the truth. But the thing is, I only hate the people that are mean and hateful themselves. So it's kind of backwards, but oh well.

Only once they're older but the choice is harder to make since they think that hating other people is the better one.. yet while you're a child, you don't have that chance to choose!

death
love brings the exact opposite - building, creating
life
u cant burn fire with fire
winning hate would only mean not giving into it
u dont fight an enemy
u fight an emotion
when u feel what u feel u become an enemy to love yourself
killing hate with hate will bring more hate

but healing hate with love (assuming that can be done) and putting hate aside will destroy hate thinking and feeling is eventually all that u need not that its easy.... but thats why u got yar friends and allys to lighten the path with love (of course)  |

Yeah. I'm not saying that I cause problems with people. But like the customer who was yelling at me at work today. I'm supposed to love someone like that?! Instead, I took care of whatever he was complaining about so he would leave me alone. I'm not saying I wanna go on a killing spree or anything like that.
