First statement: Thank you Nemesis for brining this much information into our forum! As you know I read it at my work and it was very interesting.
BUT....
I do not think we are dealing with a source here which we can trust. I do not believe that the information above is based on reality, but that we are dealing with a hoax here.
WHY...?
Well, the person who wrote these letters, gives us the impression that he is in danger because he is sharing this information with others. Instead of doing everything to hide his identity, the person gives us sufficient information to find him, let alone government agencies such as CIA, FIB or MJ12.
Also, I think that he goes a little far with his information on the Team that went with the surviving occupant. He describes a story that the Alien is telling us. Strange, because the self-destructive strategy of these aliens is inconsistent with an Alien telling us everything.
Also, the person claims that the disc had a self-destructive "Dimensional powerplant " and an "inter-atmospheric propulsion system ". Well, if these were self-destructive, the writer (or his Granddad) would not be able to know what these parts were for.
Ow, and of course, the writer is a good friend of Neil Armstrong. Yep, sure....
So, I must say it is a funny story and good to read, but I think we should look at this as being a funny SF-story made up by someone which we should not take seriously.
