You're right nem! But I was only stating that in a way, when you go across provinces or countries.. you time travel.. surely not the way scientists want..but it is still a form of it. Is what I was meaning..

Technically same things happen twice a year for the daylight saving hours when clocks go backwards or forwards an hour

Yes..that's right. There's more time travelling in the world that is so technical than what humans think! I still find it rather amazing though..the time travelling and all..the only bad thing with that would be... if you were to go back in time... and touch one thing.. it may screw everything else up...and that wouldn't be too much fun!

To be controversial historically speaking Hitler had to be there to start the second world war in order for the world to be as it is today technologicaly speaking.
I don't think we should get into this debate about it in this thread but would be happy to under thoughts.
Anything that we do in the past could potentially have dramatic efffects on our present. Like a single small stone thrown into a still lake would cause ripples to spread to cover the entire lake.
If we were to change anything it would have to be very very well thought out before hand.

True, it would be..but the thing is... you can't be 100% positive of where you're going so you can't really say... "okay.. I'm going to change this, this, this and that" Because... well.. you just wouldn't know! And you wouldn't be sure if that'd be the right thing to do. For all you know.. that could be the worst thing possible while you think it's a great thought!

but whats the diffrence? we do it all the time in our daily life... change the future MAYBE if u wouldnt have gotten into this site and wouldnt look at it u would have saved/killed millions of pipol in the far future? its the exact same... anyway if u do go back in time u will NEVER find the same future you left and why not change it? we do it all the time anyway why when we do after time travel ppl suddenly care? wwwwwwwwwhats the difference?

Should this not be moved to thoughts?
It seems to have evolved from whether time travel is scientificaly possible to should we change the past if given the opportunity.
I believe that time travel is possible but only from the date the machine is invented and forwards and backwards to the point of invention.
Otherwise there would be some sign of visitors from the future in our history.

Cat was indeed right, we nowadays change our future by making decissions. Visitors from the future, described in our history.. well.. if you'd evolve dinosaurs with a computer for a couple a million years, you'd get creatures which resemble quite alot the aliens we know nowadays.. soooo maybe it already happened BTW; you ever seen the movie "Twelve Monkeys" with Bruce Willis?

hmmm have you got a site or something with the evolving dinosaurs? It would be interesting to see it. Apart from this are you suggesting that the greys are actually time travelling dinosaurs?? I have seen 12 Monkeys a great film...
