wow I haven't been here for a REALLY long time. I'm Saraeh and I live near TJ sorta lol. I am usually at another site but I decided to stop by and reminice lol. I sorta miss this place but yea.... ya cant be everywhere! hey Nem I came back!!!!!

I don't think Freya was a Roman/Greek goddess. She may have been from Norse mythology. I'm not sure if Freya was the goddess of love in Norse mythology or not, but I know Aphrodite/Venus was the Greek and Roman goddess of love.

Freya, Norse Goddess of Love & Beauty
Freya was the daughter of the Vanir gods Niord & Nerthus, her twin brother was the god Frey, her husband was Od and her two daughters were Hnoss and Gersimi (Jewels and Treasure). Freya was the norse goddess of beauty, physical love, sidhr magic and she was also known as Queen of the Valkyries. She would sometime lead the Valkyries to battle/collect the souls of fallen warriors and it is said that she takes half of the fallen warriors (along with their wives and/or lovers) with her to Folkvang. In Folkvang, there is plenty of food and mead, the walls and floors are covered with thick tapestries and pillows, the warm glow of fireplaces light up every room and the smell of perfume and the sound of love music fills the air.

Norse mythology! Gee.. I can't say much though. most of it has already been said! No fun! Nah! It's all good! Actually Saraeh, Freya is Aphrodite.. they are the synonym ( I guess you can say) of the other. |
