What are Orbs? (see pic beneath post) Are they dustparticles reflecting light emitted by the flash of the camera? Is it rain dropped on the lens? Or are they some kind of energy.. or maybe something else?

There have been orbs caught on video tape before, so in general I do believe in them. As for those pics, I am doubtful of the first one but the second one could be real.

Hmmmm the first could be real.....but the second is a fake. In fact.........I think that is the same picture I seen on the Michigan Ghost Hunter's Society's website. As taken by the head of the organization. Lucy Kees. In which, she blatanly states in that particular picture, she kicked up dirt on purpose and snapped a picture, to show the difference between the real deal, and phonies.
My own opinion......unless I actually can see the orb moving, like in a video feed. Most orbs on pictures are fakes, or simply people mistaken. It's easy to see something when you want it to happen.

yeah.. not fake, but simply mistaken as an orb-picture.. I made some pics with my (digital) camera, and in that ones ye can also see some 'orbs'.. but i highly doubt they áre orbs.. morely something like dust.

Correct. As we were shooting pictures with the digicam of Nemesis, we got alot of orbs. Also, we got most of them in two places both very dusty. So it seems that these Orbs are just small dust particals shown on the picture when using the flash to take the picture.
Also, this is consistend whith the story of "Lucy Kees", who claimed she was kicking up dirt. When the sand is dry, this will cause lot's of dust creating these Orbs.
Funny thing how you all start to tqalk about "real" and "fake" as if this is a very rare phenomenon. We get these Orbs on allmost every pic whe make in a dusty place. I know it sounds cool to be an expert, but please...

Hey, I said from the start that I didn't think they were real so I should get some credit for that.

Well I'm 99% sure that the first is is fake as well. I've never seen an orb that bright in broad daylight. Looks like a water spot or light exposure.

The two Orb pic's above look real to me! I dont however see a cloud of dust anywhere that would indicate they were fake. It very well could possibly be Orb's but how would you really know the difference?
