Sorry dear, I found a flaw in your theory, YET AGAIN... the only way you would not walk your path is if you knew it.. when if you never would of done tarot readings, you never would of known what was to come. So that would change it if you didn't like it. Which is wrong to do for it can totally change your futur and that may turn out worse than what was the reason at the beginning!

That is why you need to be careful as to whether it is a path that should be walked or not...
For example it may fortell a marital dispute caused by lack of honesty... It may even say it is lack of honesty over financial matters....
This will then give you a choice to be honest with your partner and avoid this dispute to begin with. Something that is logical to look at, but may be clouded by your own thoughts at that time.
This is one of the useful thing about the Tarot it allows for self reflection.
I am not disagreeing with your arguement as far as in some situations doing something may lead to worse things to happen. It is therefore always the choice of the individual as to whether they wish to act or not. One of life's many gambles.

Unfortunately I know the biggest flaw in both your positions.
Sometimes the future the cards see is unavoidable, if you know it or not will not make a difference. Try as you might to fight against it, things will happen.
But don't fret! These are not necessarily the bad events/futures, just solid unavoidable circumstances.
I have frequently encountered unusal readings like these. For example with a friend of mine we did several readings with several different decks which all ended up with the cards taking the same positions. As you can expect my friend was a little freaked. We repeatedly both shuffled the decks yet the exact same layout occurred time after time. The readings only began to change after he accepted what the cards had said, which in this case was a bad situation. But after accepting the bad news, the readings showed how the bad situation would lead to a much more positive event.

Indeed the logic behind your point was sound. ;D
But is doing something to change a bad situation you know about wrong?
Or is it merely the way you choose to change it?
The same things could be said about premonitions and precognitive dreams. Most people don't choose to have those. Those just happen.
Any form of divination comes with the responsibility of choosing what to do with the knowledge.

Yes but what if that bad situation helps you in the futur?

As I said any form of divination comes with the responsibility of choosing what to do with the knowledge. If you take that fact seriously, you will do further readings testing the posibilities that are brought forth by the original bad situation. Including readings checking for good or bad results if you change it. If you ignore the responsibility you will act blindly, and may cause untold harm, or discover untold success. But then again that may have been how you would have acted without seeing the cards.

also had a dream after seeing the movie Treasure Island that i was being chased down for a treasure map or soething and scared by the nastiest placebo in the world the black spot...and hid in the bath. got found. woke up.
